I went on an excursion tonight to get boba tea and it was the best experience ever. I went with thatgilkid to LimeRed Teahouse in Amherst MA. It is this cute little tea shop in town and it has the largest selection I’ve ever seen! I got peach tea with “popping” mango pearls which actually do make a little explosion in your mouth when you bite into them. It was shocking at first and made me and Gil jump when we bit into our first pearl. Gil got almond milk tea with normal boba and it was gone in almost five minutes and she had the saddest puppy face when she realized she was finished.

We also got vegetable dumplings (ew) but Gil said they were great so I went against my carnivorous nature and tried one and with hot sauce it wasn’t bad. HOWEVER! We also got these cream filled buns and wow, if they had powdered sugar on them I think I would have died from deliciousness. It tasted like a boston creme doughnut but a different textured dough since it was steamed.

If you live around the Amherst area it is well worth the time to make the trip!
